Thank you - now back to the grind!
It's been a little more than a week since I posted the Beta of REVEREND.
I was very nervous, but I'm so happy that I decided to do this, because I learned a lot from the respons I got. First of all - I'm so sorry to the poor people who got overwhelmed by the amount of enemies, and lack of health and ammo pick ups! Me and a friend might have gotten a bit too comfortable with the levels and enemy placement, when we tested everything out, during development. The first thing I did when I got back to work on REVEREND was to lower the enemy amount, and throwing the player a bone, with some sneakingly placed items. Hopefully that will help people out (I might have to release a second Beta build before the full release, just to test some stuff out).
While I gathered the data regarding REVEREND, I took a break from working on it. I wanted to collect myself, my thoughts, and especially, patiently wait for enough of feedback so I knew what I had to be done. I didn't want to work one any new stuff until I new what had to be fixed. Today, I finally had what I considered enough to work with, and sat down with the project again. Stuff is coming along nicely...
